\nThis thesis aimed to study the behavior of high-strength concrete beams made using recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) and reinforced with glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) bars under static loads. It also investigated the effect of the ratio of natural aggregate to recycled aggregate, as well as the composition and reinforcement of the GFRP bars, on the structural performance of the beams.<\/p>\n
The results showed that the use of recycled aggregate affects the structural behavior of the beams. A higher percentage of recycled aggregate led to decreased stiffness and increased displacement, while increasing the diameter and number of GFRP bars improved load-bearing capacity and stiffness and reduced displacement. The study’s findings confirm the potential for utilizing recycled concrete aggregate and GFRP bars in construction applications. This contributes to the reuse of concrete waste and reduces reliance on natural aggregate. Furthermore, the study highlights the benefits of GFRP’s corrosion resistance, making this type of reinforced concrete a promising option from both an environmental and structural perspective.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
