Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Aqeel Rahim Al-Barqawi, the College of Medicine launched “Hope Day” activities aimed at reducing suicide and promoting awareness of mental health. The event saw wide participation from faculty, students, and a number of specialists in the psychological and social fields.<\/p>\n

The activities began with verses from the Holy Quran and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs. Awareness seminars, workshops, and scientific lectures were held, addressing the causes of suicide and methods of prevention. A discussion was also held with students to listen to the psychological challenges they may face and to work on finding practical solutions that contribute to supporting them psychologically and academically.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
