The study addressed an important aspect of our Arab heritage, namely the letters of Abbasid caliphs and ministers. Letters are an integral part of Arab writing culture, a rich and prominent form in Abbasid scholarship. The dissertation revealed that argumentative intertextuality is a cognitive practice based on combining critical technique (intertextuality) with theory (argumentative). The study reached several conclusions, including that the conscious use of Quranic, Prophetic, literary, and historical themes within the mechanisms of argumentative intertextuality underscores a persistent political endeavor to create a suitable environment that enhances the interplay between collective consciousness and argumentative intertextuality.
