Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Professor Dr. Mai Ali Aziz, a training course entitled “Cyber \u200b\u200bExtortion of Women and its Countermeasures Using Cybersecurity Principles” was held at the College of Education for Women. The course was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Talib Al-Mahna and Dr. Marwa Abdul-Halim Saleh. The course addressed the concept of cyber extortion, its types, causes, and the groups most vulnerable to it, in addition to its psychological, social, and legal effects. Emphasis was placed on the importance of cybersecurity in protecting personal data and digital accounts. The course also included a presentation on digital prevention mechanisms, the safe use of social media, and the proper legal procedures for dealing with cases of cyber extortion.
