Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Kadhim Nuwair Al-Zubaidi, the College of Fine Arts held a scientific symposium entitled “Preventive and Criminal Response to Intellectual Extremism.” The symposium featured a presentation by legal expert Ali Saloumi Al-Hilali.<\/p>\n
The symposium aimed to raise awareness of the dangers of intellectual extremism and its negative effects on individuals and society, to clarify the role of systems and laws in confronting crimes related to extremism, and to emphasize the importance of intellectual prevention as the first line of defense before resorting to criminal measures. Key recommendations included strengthening awareness and educational programs targeting youth in schools and universities, supporting moderate religious and intellectual discourse, activating the role of scholars and specialists, developing legislation and criminal procedures to keep pace with intellectual and technological advancements, and activating the role of the family and media in preventing extremist ideologies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
