A research team from the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University, comprising Professor Dr. Haitham Ali Badi, Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Ali Jabr, and Researcher Ahmed Jassab Multat, published a scientific paper entitled “Tortic Behavior and Failure Mechanism of Reinforced Concrete Beams Strengthened with GFRP Stirrups Fixed Near Surface (NSM)” in the reputable international journal, the International Journal of Civil Engineering.<\/p>\n
The research addressed the torsional behavior and failure mechanisms of reinforced concrete beams after strengthening them using GFRP polymer fiber reinforcement with the near surface reinforcement (NSM) method, through a program of experimental tests under torsional moment.<\/p>\n
It is worth noting that the research was published in the International Journal of Civil Engineering, one of the reputable scientific journals published by the international publishing house Springer.
