The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, launched a comprehensive awareness campaign to combat violence against women. The campaign was overseen by Assistant Lecturer Israa Riyadh Al-Gharra, in cooperation with the High Commission for Human Rights, represented by Ms. Fatima Jabbar and other members of the Commission.<\/p>\n
The campaign included the distribution of brochures and educational posters throughout the college, aiming to raise awareness about the forms of violence against women and ways to prevent it, as well as to inform victims about the legal mechanisms and support available to them.<\/p>\n
This joint activity underscores the role of academic institutions in positively engaging with societal issues, promoting a culture of respect for women’s rights, and contributing to building a university and community environment free from violence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
