The President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, participated in the opening of new departments at the Specialized Center for Cardiac Surgery and Catheterization in Diwaniyah, accompanied by the Director General of the Diwaniyah Health Department, Dr. Muhannad Aneim Al-Mayali, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Aqeel Rahim Al-Barqawi, and a number of faculty members and specialist physicians from the Diwaniyah Health Department.<\/p>\n
Dr. Diaa Al-Hamzawi, a lecturer in the College of Medicine specializing in interventional radiology, stated that the new facilities include an interventional radiology and peripheral catheterization clinic, as well as an operating theater. These facilities are equipped with interventional radiology equipment, peripheral catheterization tools, and catheter-based tumor treatment equipment.<\/p>\n
