The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of drugs and their types, as well as to examine the geographical distribution of drug users in Iraq, identify the main reasons leading to drug use, and understand the most significant effects of this phenomenon on society.<\/p>\n

Key recommendations included concerted efforts between families, communities, relevant institutions, and security agencies to reduce drug use; raising health awareness and educating youth about the dangers of drugs; improving the performance of security agencies, especially at borders and entry points between Iraq and neighboring countries; and imposing strict penalties on drug traffickers and dealers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
