The Educational and Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Administration and Economics at Al-Qadisiyah University, in cooperation with the Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs in Diwaniyah, held a scientific workshop entitled “The Dangers of Drugs and Their Negative Effects on Society.” The workshop was presented by Brigadier General Khalid Kadhim Hussein, Lieutenant Colonel Alaa Hassouni Mohammed, and Lieutenant Colonel Abbas Bardaan Habib, and was moderated by Professor Dr. Razzaq Dhiab Shuaibth.<\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to raise students’ awareness of the most significant dangers resulting from drug use, based on sound scientific principles. It also emphasized the importance of early intervention before reaching the stage of dependency and the resulting harm.
