Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yassiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Nabil Imran Al-Khalidi, the Science and Technology Parks Department at Al-Qadisiyah University organized an educational course entitled “Combating the Scourge of Drugs” in the College of Arts auditorium. The course was presented by Dr. Hawraa Hassan, Assistant Lecturer Hussein Ali Fadhil, Assistant Lecturer Zaman Ali Naama, Assistant Lecturer Rawaa Alaa Mari, and Assistant Lecturer Ruaa Kamel Muhsin.<\/p>\n

The course focused on the legal texts contained in the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law No. (50) of 2017, which is currently in effect. It highlighted the skills that every member of society, especially the head of the household, should possess in dealing with drug and psychotropic substance users, and how to help them overcome this difficult situation. The course also discussed the impact of drugs on impairing the human mind.
