Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Surgery and Obstetrics at the college held a scientific course entitled “Pregnancy Detection in Sheep.” Lectured by Assistant Professor Dr. Masar Saeb Kazim, Assistant Professor Ali Habib Jaber, and Assistant Professor Bassem Hamid Abdul.<\/p>\n

The course aimed to identify the methods used to detect early pregnancy in sheep and how to choose the appropriate method. The course also included the possibility of detecting pregnancy approximately 40 days after mating using the traditional method of abdominal palpation after the second month. However, this requires expertise to avoid harming the fetus and ultrasound examination.<\/p>\n
