Under the patronage of Professor Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Munir Abdul Amir Al-Fatlawi Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Surgery and Obstetrics at the college held a scientific course entitled “Diagnosing Pregnancy in Dogs Using Ultrasound Technology.” Professor Dr. Diaa Hussein Jassim, Professor Dr. Khaled Mohammed Karam Al-Sayyad, and Assistant Professor Bassem Hamid Abdul lectured.<\/p>\n

The course aimed to introduce ultrasound technology and its importance in diagnosing the early stages of pregnancy. The course also emphasized that ultrasound technology is one of the most accurate and safe methods for confirming and monitoring pregnancy. Fetuses can usually be detected after day 25 of mating. Ultrasound also helps determine the number and vital condition of fetuses. It is also used to monitor fetal development and accurately estimate their age.<\/p>\n
