The Human Rights Unit at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University, in cooperation with the Department of Materials Engineering, held an advisory and awareness seminar titled “The Dangers of Illegal Migration, Promoting a Sense of National Belonging, and the Role of the Family in Society.” The seminar was held in the Continuing Education Unit Hall. Assistant Lecturer Nadia Kazim Awad presented the seminar.<\/p>\n

The seminar aimed to address the dangers of illegal migration, highlighting the legal, psychological, and security dimensions of illegal migration. It also warned of the risks young people face when attempting to reach other countries illegally, and the resulting social and economic repercussions for the individual and family. The seminar also emphasized the importance of instilling a sense of national belonging in young people and highlighting the role of the family and educational institutions in building a cohesive and informed society. It was also emphasized that the family is the basic nucleus that shapes an individual’s identity and protects them from slipping into making decisions that threaten their future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
