Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled “Microbial Infection Scenarios in Hospitals.” The course was presented by Eng. Biology: Saba Hamid Zidane<\/p>\n

The course aimed to introduce the types of microbial infections common in hospitals, such as bloodstream infections, respiratory tract infections, wound infections, and urinary tract infections. It also clarified the mechanisms of infection transmission within healthcare facilities and the factors contributing to their spread.<\/p>\n

The course recommended the need to strengthen ongoing infection control training programs for all hospital staff, emphasize the importance of handwashing as a basic measure to interrupt the chain of microbial transmission, strictly implement isolation protocols for patients with infectious infections, and improve sterilization and environmental cleaning procedures within the hospital.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
