Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Archaeology, Assistant Professor Dr. Rajwan Faisal Ghazi Al-Mayali, the College of Archaeology held its Comparative Evaluation Conference for the academic years 2023\u20132024 and 2024\u20132025. The conference session was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Furqan Alaa Al-Din Badr, Head of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division, and attended by the Dean’s Assistants for Academic and Administrative Affairs, heads and rapporteurs of academic departments, as well as heads of departments and administrative units at the college.<\/p>\n

The conference featured a presentation of statistical tables covering the number of faculty members by academic title, the number of accepted students, and the number of research papers published in international and local journals. It also included statistics on administrative and technical staff, as well as student scientific, literary, and sports activities held during the academic year. The conference also included a comparison between the previous academic year and the current evaluation year, using growth percentages to identify and consolidate the most significant strengths achieved, and to identify weaknesses for remediation.<\/p>\n

The conference concluded with a set of recommendations that emphasized the need to establish new scientific laboratories suited to diverse archaeological specializations, to enhance the college library with solid, multilingual scientific resources, and to create an electronic hall dedicated to archiving university books and theses to facilitate access for researchers and students.
