Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Dentistry held an educational seminar entitled “Women’s Rights in Elections.” Ms. Diyar Farhan Murad presented the seminar.<\/p>\n

The seminar aimed to raise awareness of women’s political and legal rights and motivate women to exercise their right to vote in a conscious and responsible manner, thus enhancing democratic representation. It also featured success stories of women who have participated in elections.<\/p>\n

The seminar recommended encouraging women to become involved in political parties and civil society organizations, training them in leadership, persuasion, and election campaign skills, and promoting electoral education through awareness campaigns targeting women, especially in rural areas.
