Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college held a first aid awareness workshop titled “Be the First Rescuer: A First Aid Awareness Workshop.” Mr. Kifah Saleh Al-Shabani lectured and the workshop was moderated by Ms. Miad Qader Al-Jashmi.<\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ awareness of the importance of first aid and provide them with the basic skills to quickly and effectively respond to emergencies. It focused specifically on women’s empowerment and enabling them to act appropriately in emergency situations they may encounter at home or at work.<\/p>\n

The workshop recommended the need to spread the culture of first aid within the academic community and to intensify the regular holding of these courses.
