Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Salwan Ali Obaid Al-Hamzawi, the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Science held a scientific course entitled “The Harm of Drugs to the Individual and Society and How to Deal With Them.” Presented by Asst. Dr. Wael Fadel Aziz and Asst. Dr. Salam Abdul Hussein Sahin.<\/p>\n
The course explained the meaning of addiction as a compulsive desire to continue using the drug or obtain it by any means, with a tendency to increase the administered dose, causing psychological and physical dependence and harmful effects on the individual and society.
