Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Public Health Department at the college held a discussion session on assessing business sustainability and its impact on the environment and society. Ms. Israa Abdul Hassan Aliwi presented the session.
\nThe session aimed to reduce the negative environmental impact by reducing gas emissions, improving energy efficiency, and reducing waste. It also aimed to promote business social responsibility, including respecting workers’ rights, supporting the local community, promoting diversity and inclusion, and ensuring economic sustainability.
\nThe session recommended improving resource efficiency by improving processes and resource efficiency, as well as improving energy efficiency. It also recommended promoting innovation through investing in research and development for sustainable services and products.
