The Human Rights Unit at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University held a cultural symposium entitled “Human Rights on Labor Day: Challenges and Opportunities” in the Continuing Education Unit Hall. M.E. Nadia Kazim Awad presented. The symposium aimed to highlight the relationship between human rights and workers’ rights, and to demonstrate how dignity and justice can be promoted in the workplace. The symposium also highlighted ongoing challenges, with concrete opportunities available to promote human and workers’ rights through collaboration between governments, civil society, and the private sector.
