Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Common Diseases Research Unit at the college held a discussion session entitled (Pets and Their Relationship to the Transmission of Parasitic Diseases to Humans: Prevention and Treatment). Assistant Lecturer Osama Hadi Saleh presented the session. The session aimed to identify the most important parasitic diseases transmitted to humans through pets (domestic animals).
