Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled “Complete Blood Count Examination.” Lectured by Asst. Jamila Kazim Abdul Hassan, Asst. Suha Alawi Hussein, and Asst. Amir Abdul Kazim, the course aimed to highlight the importance of a complete blood count (CBC) in diagnosing medical conditions and identifying risk factors surrounding a person based on the results of the examination. It also aimed to monitor medical conditions that rely on blood cell counts to achieve complete and definitive treatment. The most important recommendations are to conduct a comprehensive examination periodically, every six months or annually, and not to consider a complete blood count sufficient to accurately diagnose a disease.
