Under the patronage of the President of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Professor Dr. Ali Masir Yassin, and the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the President of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Diwaniyah Branch, Professor Dr. Sajit Majeed Jaafar Al-Moussawi, the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Diwaniyah Branch, held its second annual festival on the occasion of “Iraqi Academics Day” under the slogan “Iraq’s Academics: A Beacon for a Sustainable Future.” The festival celebrated and appreciated the efforts of the distinguished university academic. The festival, held at the College of Law at Al-Qadisiyah University and attended by the University President, his assistants, deans of colleges, Member of the Iraqi Parliament, Mr. Bassem Al-Gharabi, the Dean of the Technical Institute, a representative of the Teachers Syndicate, and professors from the Islamic University and Imam Al-Kadhim College (peace be upon him), included opening remarks by the President of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Diwaniyah Branch, and another remark by the President of Al-Qadisiyah University. It was followed by a documentary on the Syndicate’s activities and its role in serving the academic community.
