Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Girls at Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Mai Ali Aziz, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education for Girls organized a workshop entitled (Women and their Active Role in Society). The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Widad Mahdi Mahmid, Asst. Dr. Sarah Sabah Hamza, Asst. Dr. Huda Kazim Hassan, and Asst. Dr. Nashwa Ali Mashjal. The workshop aimed to identify the role of women in society, as well as their role in building the family, as well as their role in the labor market, politics, medicine, and other fields. The workshop also recommended the necessity of maximizing the role of women in society and their participation in the labor market due to their active role in the renaissance of society.
