The President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kadhim Jabr Al-Jubouri, participated in the central ceremony organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to celebrate Iraqi Academic Day.
\nThe ceremony included a speech by His Excellency the Minister, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, representing the Prime Minister, in which he announced his thanks and appreciation to academics on the occasion of Iraqi Academic Day.
\nThe Minister also extended his thanks and appreciation to all employees of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its formations on the occasion of Iraqi Academic Day.
\nThe ceremony also included honoring by the Minister of Education a group of martyrs’ and wounded relatives, university presidents, representatives of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, and a number of distinguished researchers. In his speech, delivered on behalf of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, in the presence of a crowd of academics and parliamentary figures, His Excellency emphasized that the focus on development has been and remains the cornerstone of academic performance. He expressed his confidence in Iraqi academic institutions and emphasized that the shared success in the higher education and scientific research environment is the fruit of sincere efforts to achieve the mission and objectives of educational institutions.
\nFor his part, the President of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Dr. Ali Musayer, praised the care and attention shown by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem al-Aboudi, in managing the education sector and its universities and achieving the highest level of positive, distinguished academic performance for Iraqi universities within the context of global rankings and rankings.
