The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University held a Quranic symposium entitled “The Status of the Ahl al-Bayt in the Holy Quran” in cooperation with the Holy Quran Institute in Diwaniyah, affiliated with the Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine, as part of the Quranic project in universities. The symposium featured lecturers: Asst. Hussein Fadel Al-Hilali, Mr. Hussein Aziz Al-Dulaimi, Mr. Akram Samir Al-Salhi, Quran reciter, and Mr. Ayad Fouad Al-Sharifi, Quranic media. The symposium covered several topics, including the status of the attentive ear related to understanding, the status of those who explain, related to interpretation, the status of those who warn, related to conveying the Quran, and the status of the people of remembrance, related to questioning. Finally, gifts were distributed to the winning students, as part of a religious question-and-answer session.
