The Department of Banking and Finance held a workshop titled “Exam Violence” in Al-Maqrizi Hall, presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Karar Hatem Attia. The workshop aimed to shed light on exam violence as a form of non-traditional violence (physical violence, verbal violence, and expressive violence). Exam violence can take the form of questions not included in the subject’s curriculum, randomly marking exam papers, discrimination between students in assigning daily test grades, or through abusing students during exams, among other unacceptable behaviors. When students were asked about the extent to which they had been exposed to any form of exam violence, their answers indicated that they had not been subjected to such behavior by their professors. On the contrary, they praised their cooperation and parental treatment. Student violence can also take many forms, including failure to adhere to exam rules and regulations, disrespect for classmates, and many others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
