Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Kazem Nuwair Al-Zubaidi, the College of Fine Arts at Al-Qadisiyah University completed a scientific seminar titled “The Specificity of Television Drama and Its Impact on the Audience,” presented by Eng. Bahjat Abdul Wahid Abdullah.<\/p>\n
The seminar aimed to introduce television drama and identify its most important characteristics and features, benefiting from the widespread popularity of television. The significance of television drama necessitates the study of its content by media studies, as it is a popular art that reflects the image of reality and addresses a wide range of audiences across different age groups and social levels. It is the art that creates “familiarity” between it and the audience, in addition to being a media and cultural window between nations and peoples, with its own distinctive artistic language compared to other forms of dramatic arts such as theater, cinema, and radio.<\/p>\n
