Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kadhim Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Nabil Imran Musa Al-Khalidi, the Media and Government Communication Department at the College of Arts held a dialogue seminar entitled “The Role of Media and the Law in Confronting Inferior Content and Consolidating Societal and Cultural Values.” The seminar was attended by Asst. Amir Riyadh Kadhim Al-Suwaidi and Attorney Mr. Bashir Imad Al-Adli. The seminar’s most important recommendations included raising students’ awareness of the dangers of misusing social media sites by those who create inferior content and its effects on the value and social structure. It also emphasized the role of the family in instilling noble values \u200b\u200band traditions that reflect our culture and religious teachings. It also emphasized the need to reduce poverty, which is one of the most important reasons that drive many to publish inferior content in pursuit of financial gain.
