The Department of Chemical Engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a scientific seminar titled (Methods of Producing Flame-Resistant Polymers) in the Continuous Education Unit Hall, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Khudair Jabbar Al-Hamzaawi.<\/p>\n
The seminar aimed to identify methods for producing polymeric materials and flame-resistant composite materials using flame retardant substances to protect human life and personal and public property from fire hazards.<\/p>\n
The seminar reviewed a historical overview of flame-resistant polymers, the different types of chemicals used in inhibiting the combustion process, and the methods of incorporating flame retardant materials into polymers, which included physical blending and adding to the polymer chain through a chemical reaction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
