Under the patronage and presence of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, along with the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Star Al-Fatlawi, and the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Bashir Al-Awadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Nabeel Imran Mousa Al-Khalidi, the Arabic Language Safety Unit at the College of Arts, in collaboration with the Arabic Language Department and the Al-Husseiniyah Holy Shrine Library in Diwaniyah, held a Quran competition for students of the Arabic Language Department.<\/p>\n
The competition program included several aspects, namely (memorization and rules of recitation, interpretation and Quranic expression, meanings and semantics, as well as grammar and morphology). Questions were prepared for it by the esteemed committee.<\/p>\n
A jury panel was formed, chaired by Professor Dr. Sarhan Jaffat and including Professor Dr. Haidar Habib Hamza, Assistant Professor Dr. As’ad Al-Khafaji, Assistant Professor Dr. Tha’er Al-Badiri, and Assistant Professor Dr. Hussam Al-Yasiri to judge between the three competing teams, who were selected and divided into three teams: (second-year students, third-year students, and fourth-year students).<\/p>\n
The Quran competition aims to enhance awareness of the importance of the Holy Quran and its status in university studies, particularly among the Arabic Language Department students, as well as to foster a spirit of competition among students for academic excellence in linguistic and literary studies, with consideration of the Quran and its sciences, and to encourage students and strengthen their skills in the fields of Quranic scientific research.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
