Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled (DNA Extraction), in which Dr. Durar Kamel Jabbar and Ms. Marwa Salman lectured<\/p>\n

The course aimed to demonstrate the importance of this process as it is one of the important molecular tests, and one of the life tests that include explaining the composition of DNA, in addition to explaining the types of living cells that differ from each other in terms of the formation of cell walls and living membranes, as the method of extracting and isolating genetic material differs depending on the type of living cell from which the DNA is to be extracted, and whatever the source of extraction (bacteria, plant cells, eukaryotic cells), the extraction process also provides the removal of impurities such as proteins, fats and other chemical impurities.
