Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Educational and Psychological Guidance Unit at the college held a guidance seminar entitled (Fasting and its Obligation in the Month of Ramadan) in which Prof. Dr. Haifa Juma Hassan, Mr. Abbas Fadhel Daham, and Eng. Ban Abdul Kazem lectured. The seminar aimed to educate and raise awareness among college students about the obligation of fasting the month of Ramadan and urge them to fast the holy month and not waste it. The seminar also included exposure to the verses and narrations that confirmed the obligation of fasting in the month and the wisdom of imposing fasting and its importance in human life. The seminar recommended urging students to be keen on fasting the month of Ramadan and not to neglect it, as this would be a waste of an obligatory duty and a waste of the opportunity to be honored by God’s hospitality to His servants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
