The Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Engineering, organized an awareness course entitled (Dealing with Domestic Violence and Promoting Healthy Marital Relations) in the Graduate Studies Discussion Hall, attended by Ms. Israa Riyadh Abdul Redha, Mr. Hussein Abdul Ali Al-Aryan, and Dr. Mustafa Jawad. The course aimed to educate participants about the concept of violence, in addition to enhancing skills for dealing with cases affected by it. The course also included a definition of domestic violence, its forms, causes of violence, and its impact on the family and society, as well as methods of prevention and intervention to protect and support victims, in addition to skills for enhancing effective communication between spouses and building mutual trust.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
