Under the sponsorship of Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fattah Al-Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Joint Diseases Research Unit in the college held a discussion session on the mechanisms to avoid pathogenic agents of the immune system, presented by Dr. Haidar Naji Ayaz.<\/p>\n
The session aimed to clarify the methods used by pathogenic agents to overcome the host’s immune system, which in turn increases the virulence of the pathogenic agent (bacteria or viruses), the severity of the infection, and the recovery period.<\/p>\n
The session recommended that graduate students and researchers investigate such virulence factors in isolated pathogenic agents to provide an accurate characterization of local isolates, which would reflect on treatment methods and control measures.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
