The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized an awareness morning entitled (Domestic Violence: Reality and Coping Mechanisms), in which M.M. Israa Riyadh Al-Ghara and M.M. Hadeel Abdul Hassan Rafis lectured. It aimed to raise awareness in society about the dangers of domestic violence and its impact on individuals and society, in addition to promoting a culture of dialogue and providing support mechanisms for victims. It also included several basic axes, including defining domestic violence and its various forms, including psychological, physical and social violence, the causes of domestic violence and its impact on mental health and social relations, legal protection mechanisms and methods of reporting cases of domestic violence.<\/p>\n
