The Sustainable Development Council held its first meeting, headed by the President of the University and the membership of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, a group of deans of colleges, directors of media, planning and quality assurance departments, and officials of sustainable development units, green education and global classifications.<\/p>\n
The meeting included developing long-term strategies to achieve sustainable development goals and integrate their principles into all academic and administrative activities, follow up and evaluate the achievement of sustainable development goals at the university, and prepare periodic reports that clarify the university’s achievements and challenges in this field.<\/p>\n
The Council recommended the importance of following up on the achievement of all sustainable development goals that contribute to the quality of higher education and scientific research, developing the academic program, achieving a scientific environment capable of facing all challenges of the era, supporting research and studies related to environmental sustainability issues, and including sustainability concepts in the curricula of all colleges.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
