The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University held a workshop entitled (Integrating Solar Energy Systems into Building Design) in the Continuing Education Unit Hall, attended by Prof. Alaa Laiq Hashim. The workshop aimed to harness renewable energy for sustainable buildings and also included highlighting the importance of integrating renewable energy systems in enhancing the principles and goals of sustainable buildings by exploiting the main design elements of the building or replacing them with components of renewable energy systems.
