Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a workshop titled “Dental Discoloration,” presented by the dental interns Hoor Al-Kareem and Fatima Mohammed.<\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to identify the causes of dental discoloration, whether external (such as coffee and smoking) or internal (such as medications and diseases), and to encourage the adoption of healthy habits to maintain the whiteness of teeth, reduce discoloration, and promote the use of modern treatments to eliminate discoloration and improve the appearance of teeth.<\/p>\n

The workshop recommended the necessity of adhering to brushing teeth twice a day using a suitable whitening toothpaste and reducing the consumption of discoloration-causing substances such as tea, coffee, and soft drinks, along with rinsing after consuming them, and visiting the dentist regularly for deep cleaning and consultation regarding appropriate treatments for discoloration, such as laser whitening or chemical whitening.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
