International Cooperation
_
International cooperation with institutions, universities and specialists in the field through research and communication is widely recognized by the university and its university staff. This collaboration is commonly produced in various forms of data interpreted in articles, books and other written materials currently in application to achieve an accurate diagnosis of the difficulties faced by students and the local community and to ensure that the best available methods are put in place to address each point effectively.
The university creates a comprehensive report on the SDGs based on input from faculties, research centers and administrative offices.
Annually, the University works directly with other universities in Iraq in submitting the required data and proof of evidence regarding the 17 Sustainability Goals to the Ministry of Higher Education. These efforts focus on building a sustainable way of living and progress for local communities and especially for students who are at the core of education. These national reports from various universities in Iraq usually have a great impact as the review reports on each of the sustainable development goals guide the university to address weaknesses with the best solutions and encourage other areas to a higher level of achievement.
The data collected from various projects managed by the university is directed towards international organizations focused on planning and implementing sustainable development goals. The research created by undergraduate and graduate students of the University dealing with a large number of issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals is subject to review by sustainability professionals, who in turn manage current projects and facilitate a better approach in targeting the specific objectives of the Sustainable Development Goals.
