Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabir Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Psychological Guidance Unit, in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college, held an awareness seminar addressing the topic of (bullying and its effects on individual personality), presented by Assistant Lecturer Noor Jalawi Jabbar.
The seminar aimed to define bullying and how it develops in different environments such as universities, workplaces, or online, and to study how bullying impacts the personality development of both the victim and the perpetrator, thus providing a comprehensive and integrated view of the phenomenon of bullying and its effects on society.
The seminar recommended organizing continuous awareness campaigns throughout the year in universities and local communities to raise awareness about bullying, its causes, and effects, as well as using media and social media to educate about bullying and encourage individuals to report cases. It also emphasized enhancing awareness about cyberbullying in schools and public places and promoting safe and responsible internet usage.
