The College of Physical Education and Sports Science at Al-Qadisiyah University provides special containers that sort waste according to its type in accordance with the requirements of sustainable development

Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Science at Al-Qadisiyah University, Assistant Professor Dr. Bashir Shakir Al-Awadi, and with the follow-up of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Samir Raji Abis, various waste sorting containers have been installed in the corridors and gardens of the college. This is in implementation of the directives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to apply the waste sorting experience at the source to enhance sustainable development and green education. The containers have been classified for sorting waste (plastic, paper, and glass) to provide a pioneering practical experience for students in line with the ministry’s vision to promote sustainable development.
