Mr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, received Mr. Ismail Zeynali, the President of Islamic Azad University of Qazvin, and his accompanying delegation in his office to discuss mechanisms for joint scientific cooperation.
The delegation, led by Mr. Ismail Zeynali, included Dr. Mohsen Khon Siawash, the head of international relations at the university, Dr. Mohammad Nooroozi, the director of the Mechatronics Research Center and head of the teams sent to international robotics competitions, Dr. Ali Shamkhal, the director general of knowledge economy in Qazvin province, Engineer Attar, the director of the knowledge base company (Kasbin Noor) in Qazvin, and Dr. Mojtaba Akhlaqi, the executive director of the Shokuh Science and Civilization Foundation, who coordinated the delegation.
The meeting, which was attended by Mr. Star Al-Fatlawi, the scientific assistant, the dean of the College of Administration and Economics, the dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, the assistant dean of the College of Engineering, the assistant dean of the College of Sciences, the director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department, the responsible officer for the “Study in Iraq” program, and a translator from the Cultural Relations Department, discussed the possibility of signing an agreement for scientific and research cooperation and organizing scientific activities and joint publications between the two parties.
This meeting is part of a program to open avenues for cooperation with academic institutions and local and international governmental and private universities, which Al-Qadisiyah University is adopting in implementation of the recent ministerial directives.
