Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Nabil Imran Al-Khalidi, Dean of the College of Arts, the college held a scientific seminar titled “Human Trafficking: Legal and Legislative Dimensions in Iraq.” The session was moderated by Assistant Professor Hasim Mohammed Hamza, with a presentation by Assistant Professor Dr. Muayad Fahim Mohsen.
The seminar aimed to highlight the issue of human trafficking in Iraq by analyzing the legal and legislative dimensions associated with it and increasing awareness among stakeholders about the seriousness of the crime of human trafficking and its negative impacts on individuals and society. By understanding the dimensions of this crime, better strategies can be developed for prevention and confrontation.
