Al-Qadisiyah University inaugurates a Training of Trainers (TOT) course in Entrepreneurship, in cooperation with the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Excellence, in the presence of the Advisor to the Prime Minister.

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and in the presence of the Advisor to the Prime Minister, Professor Dr. Hussein Flamerz Taher, and members of the University Council… the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Excellence, in cooperation with the Department of Science and Technology Parks at Al-Qadisiyah University, organized a Training of Trainers (TOT) course at the College of Law from September 6-9, 2026.

The opening ceremony, attended by the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, his deputies, deans, and a select group of professors, staff, and trainees, included the recitation of Al-Fatiha in remembrance of the martyrs, the playing of the national anthem, and a welcoming address by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Sattar Abdul-Hassan Al-Fatlawi. This was followed by a speech from the Advisor, Professor Dr. Hussein Flamerz Taher, and then the official launch of the training course in the Dr. Sulafa Tariq Hall at the College of Law.

The course is part of the national initiative “Riyada” (Leadership), launched by the Prime Minister’s Office, aimed at empowering youth, developing their skills, and encouraging them to innovate and transform their ideas into real projects and opportunities that contribute to building the economy and serving society.

The course also emphasized that entrepreneurship today represents a culture based on initiative, ambition, and creativity. The university, as a scientific and community institution, is committed to supporting this culture and creating an environment that enables our youth to develop their capabilities and shape their own future.
