As part of the University’s Quality Assurance and Performance Department’s efforts to solidify sustainability concepts and build institutional capacity, Al-Qadisiyah University has added three certified trainers to its staff after they successfully completed the sixth Training of Trainers (TOT-Level 3) course on energy, environment, and climate change sustainability. The course was hosted by Al-Nahrain University/Continuing Education Center from June 21 to July 2, 2026.
This participation stems from the University’s Quality Assurance and Performance Department’s adoption of this strategic training program, recognizing its importance in developing a workforce capable of disseminating a culture of sustainability, promoting energy efficiency, and supporting efforts to reduce emissions and adapt to climate change, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Sustainable Development Goals.
The participants in the course were:
* Dr. Omar Hussein Harran – University Quality Assurance and Performance Department
* Dr. Maryam Saad Naji – College of Science
* Mr. Salam Hussein Nasser – Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance.
Participants received a Certified Trainer (TOT-Level 3) certificate after fulfilling all program requirements, qualifying them to conduct training programs and transfer expertise both within and outside the university.
