The College of Education at Al-Qadisiyah University achieved a distinguished participation in the international scientific conference with Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), a QS-ranked Indonesian state university.

The College of Education achieved a distinguished participation with its counterpart, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), an Indonesian state university ranked by QS. Professor Dr. Ali Rahim Mohammed and his Master’s student, Noura Akram Hussein Al-Miqdadi, from the Department of Life Sciences, presented their research paper entitled:

“Brain-Targeted Teaching Through the READI Framework: A Neuroscientific Approach to Enhancing Biology Education.” The paper, presented electronically, explored advanced theoretical approaches to integrating the READI educational framework with the Brain-Targeted Teaching (BTT) model from Johns Hopkins University, and its application in developing biology curricula and teaching methods in line with the latest developments in neuroscience. The international scientific committee commended the ambitious academic level and rigorous presentation of the research paper, which reflects the quality of academic supervision and continuous support provided by the College of Education at Al-Qadisiyah University to its students, enabling them to represent Iraq internationally in the best possible way. It is worth noting that the conference was held in person in Indonesia, with external participation via Zoom for researchers from outside Indonesia. The conference was attended by a select group of professors and researchers specializing in life sciences and other fields from Iraqi universities.
