Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Sattar Abdul-Hassan Al-Fatlawi, and with the follow-up of the Director of the Science and Technology Parks Department, Professor Dr. Waqas Ghalib Atshan, the department’s Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division organized a course entitled “Energy-Producing Buildings.” The course was presented by:

The course discussed several topics, including:
– The first topic: The Philosophy of Sustainability: Moving from the concept of “energy saving” to the concept of “energy generation” and building a symbiotic relationship with the environment.
– The second topic: Materials Technology: Introducing the latest smart materials and their architectural applications. -Third Axis: Simulation and Intelligence
Using digital tools and artificial intelligence to predict energy performance and manage systems.
-Fourth Axis: Application to Educational Buildings and Sustainable Campuses
The course aimed to prepare participants to design, construct, and renovate facilities capable of generating clean energy that equals or exceeds their annual consumption. This directly contributes to reducing energy bills, transforming buildings into environmentally friendly units, and decreasing reliance on traditional energy grids.
