Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yassiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Asaad Hassan Al-Zaidy, the College of Pharmacy at Al-Qadisiyah University organized its third annual Creativity and Culture Festival under the slogan “The Spring of Pharmacy: When Science Blossoms into Art.” The festival’s activities began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah in remembrance of the martyrs, and then the playing of the national anthem. Afterwards, the Dean of the College delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees, expressing his happiness at holding this festival, which embodies the spirit of cooperation and integration within the college, and emphasizing the importance of the convergence of science and art as two fundamental pillars in building the character of the university student. The festival included various segments, beginning with the presentation of a series of video reports. The first report covered the history of the College of Pharmacy, while the second highlighted the practical and applied aspects of the college. The events also featured the recitation of eloquent poems and a piano performance that created a distinctive artistic atmosphere. As part of academic collaboration, the College of Fine Arts presented a comedic theatrical performance that was well-received by the audience and contributed to a joyful atmosphere. Additionally, a number of students from the college presented a dramatic performance depicting how to interact with patients in a spontaneous and realistic manner, reflecting their scientific and human skills.
